Not to derail or anything, but I just saw the 24th episode of Mahou Sensei Negima and wow...it got dark. Real dark. I don't remember that stuff from the manga, although I haven't really read all of it. But damn, it's depressing now.

Yakumo is supposed to be a genjutsu-ist whos powers were sealed, right? if thats right, then how did she supposedly paint what will happen. she painted the lightning, and it struck. that wasnt any type of genjutsu, as it actually happened, and shes an only genjutsu-ist. which she shouldnt be able to do anyway since her powers were sealed.

I'm sort of surprised that Kurenai's been presented as capable of seals. I got the impression that in the Naruto setting, these were supposed to be a big deal. Who else is known to have perfomed seal-type jutsu? Sandaime Hokage, Yondaime Hokage, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Kakashi ... uh, others?

When Kakashi sealed the curse on Sasuke, Orochimaru seemed a little surprised and impressed. Yet Kurenai was described not long ago as a new Jounin. Is she supposed to have some sort of talent for sealing, too?

Or maybe that's the point ... maybe she's not very good at them, which is why they're having problems now. Beats me.

And well - Death Note AMAZING manga. The story is unique, well written, deep, and amazing. One problem, around chapter 55 or so, i forget exactly, i think the story takes a wierd turn and it kind of turned me off. Those who read it know what i'm talking about.

A great anime to watch - D.Gray-man. Great story, great characters, interesting all around. Its on episode 4 about and the manga is up to chapter 90 or so?

I'm also checking out the anime Busou Renkin, another Shonen Jump manga I've wanted to read. So far I'm kinda liking it more then D. Gray Man.

Not that anyone cares about I have to say I suggest checking out all of Rubix's amv's. Unlike most of the other amv makers most of his song choices actually fit the amvs one way or another. I've started to just give him 5 stars without bothering to finish watching them.
