[As extremely exciting and over-the-top as this zone's design is, Sadly, it can also be one of the most frustrating things a player will ever encounter if they lack other travel powers. This is a navigation picture "road map(s)" guide for any players who have no Vertical travel powers.
West half of the Trial Zone here:

Note: There's more entrances into certain middle-zones but the ones featured here are the closest to the most direct paths in. Also, only fall back on SuperSpeed through T.V. as a last resort. If you're with a team, you may need to convince them to clear some of the final catwalks to make it in safely.
[East half coming soon, may actually a quicker line into the core area...or not, will include that info when it becomes available]

This is sweet! As a speedster, I'd given up on getting there w/o any help from a teammate. I can't wait to log on and try this for myself.
Thanks!

Thanks a lot guys! Yell if you see any shots ya'd like a better angle on because these shots. I'm also working on the East end this morning...but along with that, I'm wondering if anyone has ever HAD to access the top Reactor and if I should include that area too?
I'll see what I can do and it should be loaded up to here by the mid of the day:

East Now available. Upon inspection, it now appears that the East side has the safest way into the reactor albeit a Somewhat longer distance overall

With my super speeder I found that with combat jump I can basically scale a lot of the walls in Terra Volta. I don't know about hurdle but it might be possible.

There is?? Well my SuperSpeeder managed to make it up there and logged out up there (Just Added that secret to the Eastern Side too as "Bonus" for anyone else who wants to get on top of the Reactor). So what feature do I look for to find it?

How about a guide for sprinters? Check out my demo of the path,
You just need hyper stealth +SS, combat invis, or someone to grant invis you.
You can make the run in under 4 minutes, sprintin' all the way, and only 1 really hairy part, and that's over Gordon Trench, but very big pipe and not too far on it.

Trolling thru the forum to compile an updated Guide to Guides, I come across interesting and fun stuff I missed. This had me laughing out loud (truly, not in an 'lol' way).
Just last week I took a level 50 toon with SS and flight to the top of the reactor to see if I could find ways of using SS alone by going backwards (i.e., out). It's an old maze puzzler's trick. So, the zone was fresh in my mind.
Good work on the mario/luigi theme.

I don't think you've mentioned the crates entrance. Let me see if I can go grab some pics for you.
OK, I got a few screenshots. I'm talking about the path located here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v711/nero_orog/TerraVoltaMap.jpg). The way to use it is described (in MS Paint) in the following two pics: pic 1 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v711/nero_orog/TerraVolta1.jpg) and pic 2 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v711/nero_orog/TerraVolta2.jpg). It's kind of a rush job, so the pictures are big and kind of low quality, but they point out a pretty easy and, most importantly, perfectly safe path up.

I will also suggest strongly that anyone who loves Superspeed toons make sure you can grab the AP / KR SG powers when feasible, and think about investing the $10 in the GvsE jump pack. It's a terrific aid. Or just grab Hover - vertical + knockdown protection.
If my SS'ers all didn't typically need a knockback/down protection power, I wouldn't feel the need to grab Hover, the GvE jump pack is often enough. Might be tough over Gordon Trench, however.
Makes a lot of these maps a ton easier.
Then again, between freespecs and vetspecs... do many people still go to TV?
Good job, by the way, Samuel Tow. I never even knew those crates were there!
